My name is Geoff Brown and currently live in Solihull, England.

I have been making models for many years, I started at the age of around 6, but back then it was small scale Airfix aircraft, as that's the kind of model dad used to make.

My first car kit was an Airfix 1/32nd Vauxhall Viva, badly glued together and not painted, I built many of Airfix's 1/32nd scale kits, until I got my hands on a 1/25th scale kit, which was the Airfix Stutz bearcat. I hand painted it in yellow, and back then I was pleased with the way it turned out, the second 1/25th kit I built was again made by Airfix and was the Chrysler Imperial, which I am once again making, hopefully this one will turn out much better, since then I have stayed with the 1/24-1/25th scale kits.

I do have a break now and again and models have been known to take a few years to complete one model, as commissions and magazine work have to come first, but I always get there in the end, some of my previous builds can be found by clicking on the buttons to the left, these links will take you to all of my previous builds.

ABOUT ME

With the bodyshell painted, polished and the Bare Metal Foil had been finished, I could now fit the front and rear screens, sadly, this is the worst part of the model, although the fit is o.k, they are just way too think and look way out of scale, but because of the complex curve of them, nothing could be done to remake them out of clear acrylic sheet, a quick polish with Holts motorcycle polish, and they were glued into place using clear acrylic glue, and held in place with strips of Tamiya masking tape.
